Tell us your secret to producing FUNNY VOLUMETRIC drawings. It seems easier to do flat ones... but what your secret? Your drawings are so solid and still funny. Mastery of construction or what?
To chris: Hey you old chicken thief. How the hell are ya? Thanks for aiding and abetting. One of these days I'll do a book or something. My secret is: Sell your soul to the devil. Then hire a good lawyer to get out of it. He's scared of these Hollywood lawyers - but thanks for the kind words. Construction is the basic principle but caricature and contrast are critical to me.
Hey, I was just wondering, if you have a minute, to check out my Dave Letterman caricature and give me some pointers. As you're the master of Letterman caricatures, I'd greatly appreciate it, sir.
To Matt; Don't mind if I do. He's got a sort of Jaws head from James bond movies. His brow is low and hangs over a little. Such a witty guy too. The teeth set it off. That will be 5 thousand dollars.

Both Doug Wildey & Alex Toth, only did a story each on that Title..
This is actually Jerry Grandenetti, a very solid artist that did a lot of DC story work. He gets mistaken for Toth, a fair bit.
As does Mort Drucker's war stuff.. Which looks VERY different from the MAD caricature-type work, we normally associate him with..

Thanks for the tips! The Jaws comparison is genius. He definitely does. I'll keep your advice in mind next time I draw him.
